One and a half million steps from here: Science - audience - movie
I remember we saw the nature film of Homoki-Nagy with my classmates in Tisza mozi. We got an interesting insight into the the forest's fauna and flora from the screen.We were not disturbed by the question whether the movie was staged or not, later on we asked the biology teacher, Miss Jutka whether it is true that the pointer is such a good tracker? And it is really true. In the middle of the Great Plain, a nature fan association was formed. Perhaps we paid more attention during the lesson, and it is possible that due to this influence I became an IPM reader.
Science and the movie. Both are very important fields of our society because both spheres target the audience. They create and sensitize in a world where the term audience is a swearword. Just imagine how important these two words were when we could watch the series called One and a half million steps in Hungary! But by new the spirit of the age has changed.
Most of the educational channels like to sensitize and acquaint their audience with the results of science. More or less they were successful in transmission knowledge. With a trendy word, competence lifting. But from the mass production flow of programs leave the audience alteration and talks. Being/living among the audience makes people thoughtful and the cooperative people will be conscious as currently said and active participants in the settlement-like society.
Film festivals are also good for nostalgia. Finally it gives a determined director crew, provide place, new movies and programs. The community of river Tisza and the experience do not lag behind.
